Dr. Doug Dzema attended Sacred Heart University where he earned his B.S. in Exercise Science in 2017, and played Division-I men’s volleyball. He went on to graduate from Rutgers University in Newark with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021.
While Dr. Dzema is able to treat various neurological and musculoskeletal pathologies, his primary passion is sports orthopedics. Doug’s focus is to enable athletes to overcome their injuries and achieve higher levels of performance.
He currently plays volleyball at the professional level in the United States for the National Volleyball Association exposing him to various high-level training techniques and methods.
Dr. Dzema takes pride in a hands on approach while emphasizing a wide variety of strength and power exercises to maximize function.
