Dr. Lauren Howarth is the Director of Rehabilitation at EPTG – Jersey City. She earned a B.S. in Exercise Science-Applied Kinesiology in 2013, in addition to her DPT in 2017 – both from Rutgers University. Lauren joined EPTG in November 2018.
During her graduate studies, Dr. Howarth had the opportunity to complete clinical rotations in a variety of settings including a Pilates-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic, school-based pediatrics, sports medicine orthopedics, and hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation. She gained experience working with patients with a wide variety of post-operative conditions, acute and chronic orthopedic injuries, concussion/vestibular conditions, neurologic conditions, and sports medicine diagnoses.
Dr. Howarth incorporates a combination of manual therapy techniques, specific exercises, pain management techniques, and patient education in order to create unique treatment plans for each patient to help restore them to their prior level of function. Lauren strives to provide a positive and encouraging work environment for her patients to enjoy and optimize their rehabilitation process.
