Dr. Jailyn Cepeda is a staff physical therapist at Exchange Physical Therapy Group Jersey City. She earned her B.S. in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in 2017, where she was the captain of the D1 Cheerleading team. She then went on to earn her DPT degree from New York University in 2020.
During her graduate studies, she completed clinical rotations at St Barbanas Hospital in NYC, and outpatient clinics in New Jersey and New York. Additionally, she volunteered her time in the medical tent at the NYC Marathon, and assisted in operations of NYU DPT’s own 5k to benefit the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. In addition to her Physical Therapy degree, she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Dr. Jailyn has experience working in outpatient orthopedics in the clinic setting and home care setting for adults with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and neurological conditions, as well as pre and post-surgical rehab. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and athletic capabilities to enable them to return to the activities and sports that they love to do.
Dr. Jailyn enjoys pilates and strength classes, and taking walks around Hoboken with her Mini Bernedoodle, Leo. In the clinic, she always aims to create a warm and empathetic environment during her treatment sessions, while utilizing her knowledge and expertise to provide high quality care.
