Dr. Amanda Angulo is a Physical Therapist at Exchange Physical Therapy Group in Weehawken. She earned her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware in 2018 and took a year off of school to volunteer in different physical therapy settings. Dr. Amanda went on to earn her DPT from Neumann University in 2023, where she piloted Neumann’s first equal opportunity tutoring program for graduate students studying neuroscience.
Dr. Amanda’s past professional work experience includes working with geriatric populations at a hospital-based outpatient clinic in northern NJ. During her graduate studies, Dr. Amanda completed clinical affiliations in the ICU and cardiothoracic units of White Plains Hospital, worked with professional athletes during their respective off-seasons in a sports performance center in Florida, and treated pregnant and postpartum women with varying pelvic health conditions.
In Dr. Amanda’s last year of graduate school, she found a need and passion for treating pelvic health in men and women. She earned her Herman and Wallace Level 1 certification while in her last year of school and is experienced in treating urinary incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, and a variety of other pelvic-related conditions. She is excited to continue expanding her knowledge on pelvic health in order to better serve the community at large.
Dr. Amanda enjoys Pilates, going to concerts, and traveling. She is also a big animal lover (ask her about her puppy, Nala – she’s super cute)! Dr. Amanda strives to make physical therapy fun and has goals for everyone to be able to return to the activities, hobbies, and lifestyle they love!
