Dr. Allysa Levine is a physical therapist at Exchange Physical Therapy Group in Edgewater. She earned her B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey in 2022, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University in 2025. During her time in the Rutgers DPT Program, Allysa served as class president and teaching assistant.
As a previous travel physical therapist, Dr. Levine has expanded her clinical expertise in a variety of settings. She began her career in Washington, D.C., working in an assisted living facility and memory care unit, focusing on the unique needs of the geriatric population. She then moved to Fort Lauderdale to work in an outpatient orthopedic setting, where she treated a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries, neurodegenerative diseases, and vestibular conditions in an underserved population.
Dr. Levine has a particular interest in working with recreationally active adults and is passionate about helping her patients return to the gym and their sports pain-free. She emphasizes a personalized, movement-focused approach to care that empowers patients to build strength, confidence, and long-term resilience.
Outside of the clinic, Allysa enjoys kettlebell training, soccer, tennis, exploring new restaurants, going to the beach, and cheering on the New York Mets—LGM!
