Dr. Danielle “Dani” Kaiser is a Physical Therapist at Exchange Physical Therapy Group Jersey City. Dr. Dani is a local New Jersey girl, having grown up in West Orange, NJ. She earned her B.S. in Kinesiology in 2018 from University of Massachusetts, Amherst while as a synchronized figure skater. Dr. Dani went on to achieve her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Dominican University New York (formerly known as Dominican College of Blauvelt) in 2021. In addition to her physical therapy license, Dr. Dani is certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training.
Dr. Dani was a competitive and dedicated synchronized figure skater growing up, earning an opportunity to be a part of Team USA. She competed for 15 years, and coached for another three while finishing her physical therapy schooling. During her time competing, Dr. Dani sustained several knee injuries and underwent her own courses of physical therapy treatments throughout her skating career. It was through these experiences that Dr. Dani fell in love with the idea of rehabilitating patients using manual interventions and targeted exercise. Dr. Dani is passionate about helping people return to their former lifestyles and applies the same dedication she had for skating to her patients’ wellbeing.
With her background in athletics, Dr. Dani has a special interest in treating orthopedics, active individuals, pediatrics, and athletes, especially figure skaters and dancers. She loves the challenge of balancing flexibility, strength, and stability in order for these athletes to perform at their best. She enjoys treating the orthopedic population and would eventually like to earn Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Dr. Dani tries to motivate her patients to stay active and heal their bodies from the root cause of their issues.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Dani creating new recipes for her family and friends to try. She also loves to attend concerts, food festivals, going to the beach, skiing, and loves to keep herself sharp by staying active.
