Dr. Krista Brennan is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist at Exchange Physical Therapy Group in Hoboken, NJ. A native of Rahway, New Jersey, Dr. Brennan’s journey into physical therapy began after she suffered a hand fracture that required surgery and months of physical therapy. This experience sparked her passion for the field and inspired her to help others regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Brennan earned her B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Health Professions from Kean University before graduating Summa Cum Laude from Mercy College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of patient populations, including pediatric, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric individuals. This wide range of experience has shaped her comprehensive approach to patient care.
Her treatment style is methodical and focused on identifying the root causes of impairments rather than simply treating symptoms. Dr. Brennan is deeply committed to educating her patients, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery and long-term health. She loves problem-solving, being creative in her treatment approach, and helping patients achieve their goals, no matter how big or small.
Outside of work, Dr. Brennan enjoys hiking, cooking (and eating!), reading, and playing volleyball, which keep her balanced and energized for her work with patients.
