Dr. Elizabeth (“Liz”) Kwon is a Physical Therapist at Exchange Physical Therapy Group in Weehawken. Dr. Liz attended Widener University for their 3+3 Program, graduating with her B.S. in Biology in 2020 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. During her time at Widener, Dr. Liz was a member of her NCAA DIII Volleyball team and participated in undergraduate research. While in graduate school, she participated in Widener’s ProBono Clinic and was inducted into the ACAPT National Student Honor Society.
During her clinical rotations, Dr. Liz gained experience treating the orthopedic population in both outpatient and acute care settings. She also gained experience working with the neurological populations, such as M.S. and Parkinson’s, in the outpatient setting.
Since graduating, Dr. Liz has worked in the outpatient setting, developing experience with orthopedic, vestibular, and concussion patients. Most recently, she has spent time performing travel contracts across the Northern NJ region, prior to finding her home at Exchange Physical Therapy.
Dr. Liz enjoys playing/coaching volleyball, performing yoga, and spending time finding new food spots around town. She wants to ensure her patients play an active role in creating and meeting their functional goals, and she is a firm believer in the phrase “movement is medicine.”
